# Aloha

> Aloha is a free note-taking app in the browser where your notes become a little world you can walk through: every note is a house, every link between notes is a road, and every folder is a land of its own.

- Site: https://aloha.place/
- App: https://app.aloha.place/
- Contact: hello@aloha.place
- Works with Obsidian vaults (folders → lands, notes → houses, [[links]] → roads; plain Markdown stays on the device; read and write in Chrome and Edge, read-only elsewhere).
- Works with Notion (sign in with Notion, choose pages; pages become lands and houses).
- A world started in Aloha is kept in the browser; no account needed.
- Made for phones first; can be added to the home screen and opens offline.
- Writing more in a note grows a garden by its house; roads get better the more links share them; notes not opened in a month fade until visited.
